4 декабря 2008 года оригинальная версия Леди Гаги была использована в эпизоде сериала Дурнушка Бетти под названием «Плохая Аманда». Песня также была включена в альбом саундтреков к фильму Шопоголик, выпущенный 17 февраля 2009 года. После того, как Гага выпустила свою версию песни, Спенсер Пратт, муж Монтаг , официально заявил, что "Леди Гага отвратительна!" и "Хайди гораздо более талантливая артистка, и ее версия 'Fashion' убивает Леди Гагу."
13 марта 2012 года было объявлено, что "Fashion" станет заглавной песней для сериала NBC "Fashion Star", который вел супермодель Эль Макферсон и в котором участвовали наставники Джессика Симпсон, Джон Варватос и Николь Ричи.
